What’s new?

This package includes a number of new features and functions that will improve management of your business conversational text messaging.

NOTE: If you’re unsure that this upgrade is appropriate for you, then consult with your SMS-Magic consultants prior to installation.

This upgrade includes these enhancements:

•A new, per-user licensing model

•Converse Desktop, an intuitive, intelligent Desktop that sorts and filters conversations for users, making it a snap to quickly locate and respond to messages from a variety of different clients.

•Converse Builder, a simple yet powerful interface to create and configure Converse Apps

•Ready-to-use Converse Apps, pre-defined messaging use cases, including message templates, workflows and analytics driven by proven best practices.

•Unified messaging history

Preparation

To install SMS-Magic Converse in your organization, you should already have:

•Salesforce Sales, or Service cloud, or Force.com (Enterprise or Unlimited Editions)

Before upgrading, we recommend that you confirm the following:

•Consult your SMS-Magic Account Manager.

•Because this is a major release that contains many changes, it’s important that you test this release in a pre-production environment.

•For LEX, ensure that a domain is registered.

•Ensure that your organization has a minimum number of licenses to support the upgrade.

To ensure that you get maximum value from all the benefits of this release, we recommend that you engage a qualified Salesforce or SMS-Magic professional to perform this upgrade:

•Certified Salesforce Administrator

•Assist from Screen-Magic Support Team

•Screen-Magic Support Team

Upgrade Process

This is the process for performing the upgrade:

•Install packages in your pre-production/sandbox environment(s).

•Navigate to the SMS-Magic AppExchange.

•Click on Get it Now.

•In accordance with your organizational policies, you may either install for all users, specific user profiles, or Admins only.

•Continue through the Salesforce installation steps (setup wizard) to install the package.
